How to Help Fix your Distorted Thinking
After a decade of coaching all shapes, sizes and abilities of people I don’t think anything matters more to your performance and quality of life than does your psychology.
I saw early on in my career that the biggest hurdle to self-improvement was to actually get the people to adhere to the program.
In short, it doesn’t matter if you are the best strength and conditioning coach in the world and write the best darn weight-loss program, or if you are the best psychologist in the world who has the best theory on how to be happy if you can’t get your clients to complete the program!
As my curiosities has taken me down this interesting psychology journey I have landed on how distorted thinking may be one of the biggest reasons why we don’t live the life we dream of, or why we don’t perform at the level we expect.
In psychology this conflict is known as cognitive distortions.
